The launch of the program was timed the online discussion on "Teacher and student of the future: who will study at universities tomorrow, and how will this change the requirements for a teacher?"The event was attended by 777 participants, representatives of more than 200 Russian and foreign universities from assistants to Vice-rectors.
The discussion was moderated by Dmitry Sanatov, deputy director of the CSR North-West Foundation. Kirill Barannikov, a vice-rector for the development of the Moscow Сity University (MCU), and Pavel Chernykh, co-founder and chairman of the Expert Council of the SkillsCenter, told about education trends.
After the discussion, the first session of the foresight Council was held in a narrow circle of participants, who discussed the competencies that teachers and university employees will need in the future. The session participants discussed how the development of technology increases the need for digital skills and new communication skills in the digital environment.
