What will be an engineering education of the future?

On the 11th of November, an open lecture by Ting Chuen Pong. professor at the Hong Kong University of science and technology was held. Professor Pong told about the impact of digitalization on engineering education, as well as about the tools and technologies for its development.

Professor Pong talked to the audience about the importance of using analytics to provide timely feedback between students and teachers and also noted that a key aspect of modern engineering education is computational thinking - setting problems and presenting their solutions in a form that can be effectively implemented using a person or computer.
