Image analysis
Image analysis is a field of applied mathematics that studies methods for extracting useful information from images. Image analysis is closely related to image processing and includes tasks such as searching for objects of a given shape, selecting borders, improving images, segmentation, and tracking, and quantifying image areas. These tasks are found in microbiology, medicine, astronomy, robotics, security and tracking systems, and other areas of science and technology that deal with digital images.
During the course, You will review the main tasks of image analysis, learn classical and modern methods for selecting object boundaries in images, methods for improving images and eliminating noise, and get acquainted with neural network architectures used in image analysis.

Practical application of machine learning methods in the data-driven approach
The course is designed to learn the data-driven approach, which is to design and improve products and services based on data: research, tests, and hypothesis testing. Course participants are introduced to the tools, methods, and tasks of machine learning that are used and arise when following this approach. In the course, students will acquire the basic practical skills and basic information on the creation, evaluation, and operation of models based on machine learning methods in applied problems.

Project approach in the teacher activity
The use of project management is widely used in the creation of engineering, socio-technical, and software systems to reduce the project implementation time and obtain the required level of quality within the planned resources. The project management methodology can also be applied in the educational process, which will reduce the load on the teacher and increase the flexibility of the educational process. We will discuss flexible project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) that have found popularity among software developers, and consider the features of their application and differences from the traditional project management methodology (waterfall).

Introduction to nonlinear mathematical physics
The program is designed to introduce students to modern mathematical methods for formulating mathematical models and building their analytical solutions for both nonlinear partial differential equations and nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Applications of nonlinear differential equations for various fields of science, including, first of all, physics, biology, and Economics, are considered. Students are introduced to modern methods of building analytical solutions to various mathematical models using software packages.

The practice of using blockchain technologies in the medical industry
The lack of timely accessibility of the required amount of information from the patient's medical history can lead to significant and possibly critical delays in diagnosis and treatment. Patient-oriented medical information systems will help to guarantee the control and safe and reliable management of medical data obtained from several hospitals, which is relevant, in particular, for patients with actively progressive as well as chronic diseases. Medical data includes personal data of the patient, therefore, it is necessary to ensure information security throughout the life cycle of such data, in particular, maintaining the confidentiality of information constituting a medical secret.
